Luca Buzzavi


Graduated from the Triennium of Choir Conducting and Choral Composition (110 cum laude with honorable mention) at the Conservatory ‘L. Campiani’ of Mantua, graduated in Physics (110 cum laude) at the University of Bologna ‘Alma Mater Studiorum’, he studied Classical Guitar. He teaches classical guitar, theory and solfeggio, propaedeutic of music and choral singing at the Music School ‘C. G. Andreoli’ of the municipalities of the North Area of Modena, within which he prepares the choral singing class consisting of the ‘Aurora’ Children Choir. He is the artistic director of the ‘Teleion’ Choral Academy (Poggio Rusco - Mantua) where he conducts the ‘Gamma Chorus’ chamber choir and the Gregorian Schola ‘Matilde di Canossa’, organizes seminars and summer courses with illustrious teachers on Gregorian chant and Polyphony. He is a member of the editorial board of the FARCORO magazine and a teacher at the AERCO course for school choir conductors. He is currently enrolled in the Pre-polyphony Biennium (M° Fulvio Rampi) at the Conservatory ‘G. Verdi’ in Turin and at the Triennial School for choir directors of the ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ Foundation.
