Silvia Biasini


She was born in Cesena in 1988. Already started studying piano and composition, in November 2016 she graduated with a degree in Choral Conducting and Choral Composition (110 cum laude) at the ‘GB Martini’ Conservatory in Bologna under the guidance of the Masters Pier Paolo Scattolin and Leonardo Lollini. She currently attends the Second Level Biennium and the first year of the School for Choir Conductors ‘Guido d'Arezzo’ under the guidance of Lorenzo Donati, Luigi Marzola and Peter Broadbent. She studed choral conducting with M. Filippo Maria Bressan and Tonü Kaljuste. Since 2009 she has been the conductor of the MusiCæsena Academy Choir, the MusiCæsena Vocal Group and the ‘InCoro’ Children Choir. She is the artistic director of the ‘Suoni e Colori’ concert season which this year has reached its fifth edition, for which she has directed major events for the city such as the Requiem and the Krönungsmesse by W. A. Mozart. In September 2016 she was the preparatory master for the first world of the oratory ‘La Caduta de gl'Angeli’ for the Vox Vitae Association of Porretta Terme and in November of the same year for Matteo Malferrari's ‘Passione Secondo Maria’ organized by the Conservatory of Bologna. In addition to the intense concert activity, she carries out an important work of musical deepening proposing increasingly sophisticated and unusual repertoires. Alongside the activity of director, she is an expert in propaedeutic and musical theater for seven primary schools of the Province of Forlì-Cesena, she takes care of the didactic, stage and directorial preparation of all the shows. Since 2016 she is a member of the Artistic Commission of Aerco and in 2017- 2018 she was the conductor of the Emilia Romagna Regional Youth Choir.
